
Eiko, Body in Places, solo performance in Midtown

| FREEBody in Places is the omnibus title of Eiko’s first solo project, and first foray into exploring her unique and riveting theater of movement out of stillness, shape, light and sound, in non-traditional spaces. Eiko activates Midtown Atlanta, at the busiest street corner, and during the height of rush hour, for two consecutive days.
Friday, March 24 at 5:30pm and Saturday, March 25 at 2:30pm

Eiko is a MacArthur Genuis and Guggenheim Fellow. Her work has been presented world-wide, including Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Whitney Museum, and the Walker Center. Primary activities of Eiko’s Tanz Farm residency include multiple solo performances in Midtown Atlanta, delicious Movement SHOPS and Artist as Migrant, a FEED conversation with Eiko.
