Tanz Farm, the production structure launched by glo and The Goat Farm Arts Center in 2012, returns March 22-26 with Japanese-born dancer and choreographer Eiko. A Body in Places is the omnibus title of Eiko’s first solo project, and first foray into exploring her unique and riveting theater of movement out of stillness, shape, light and sound, in non-traditional spaces. Eiko is a MacArthur Genuis and Guggenheim Fellow. Her work has been presented world-wide, including Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Whitney Museum, and the Walker Center.   Primary activities of Eiko’s Tanz Farm residency include multiple performance installations in Midtown Atlanta, pleasure dance SHOPS and Artist as Migrant, a FEED conversation with Eiko, and Atlanta cultivators.
