We’re excited to welcome moving artists and performers into a new edition of the glo // lauri stallings workshops, hosted for the first time by XCel. This two – day immersive contemporary experience offers a deep encounter with lauri stallings’ choreographies and creative processes, guided by stallings and long-time glo moving artists.

Workshops begin with physical warm-up and embodied mapping, followed by working on repertory where participants learn and break down excerpts from lauri stallings choreographies, and to try them out for oneself, including this Summer’s city waltz, holy waltz (2026), a processional public art work.

Each session will unfold in its own way, offering space to research, discover, and enjoy the work. Discussions, and the serving of kombucha will complement the workshop.

Who should attend: pre-professional and professional dancers, and also for people with no experience in dance who wish to move – aged 16 and above.
