DESCRIPTION:Note-taking \nMonday March 29th\, 8p-8:15p virtual gathering \nWriting and Praxis lead curator Candice Thompson offers a series of open-ended writing experiments to forge deeper connections with our bodies and a reconnection with each other. Acknowledging the maxim that writing is simply re-writing\, we begin with the seed action of putting pencil to paper: note-taking. Thompson will guide through a series of exercises that are task-based and interrogative\, allowing opportunities for both short and longer explorations\, circling themes of desire\, distance\, gap spaces\, joints\, slowing down\, adaptability\, and resilience. This note-taking will function as a tandem conversation for the embodied practices of this initiative and will allow participants another portal from which we might listen to images and embark together. \nNote-taking experiments will be emailed on Sunday evenings throughout the initiative.
