DESCRIPTION:We are honored to welcome Jazz at Lincoln Center to glo\, and Atlanta. This freshly announced partnership between Jazz at Lincoln Center\, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra\, Gallery 992\, and glo platform–is perhaps the first of its kind to understand Jazz as an embodied exercise in problem-solving and as means to affect positive change in everyday life of youth\, and their caregivers. \nLaunch\n Sundays through May 21\, 10am-12:30am\nAtlanta Symphony Orchestra \nFree and public. \nA best word might be synergy—what might we do with our energies\, resources\, and talents? What if they could pull together and achieve a greater effect than the sum of their individual parts? WeBop experimental youth Jazz initiative’s launch in Atlanta is timely as we all continue to awaken to a new world. Its aim is simple: to bring intelligent\, creative movement artists and musicians together as collaborators and friends; to create a rhythmic community that cultivates children’s natural way of being\, to explore multi-sensory natures\, and the rhythm of our hearts\, all that is alive\, which is the mayfly metamorphosing on the surface of the river. \nThe first session of WeBop in Atlanta continues through May 21\, 2023.
