Project Description

Land Trees and Women

modular sculpture + choreography migration

Land Trees and Women investigates the process and mapping of women as ritual. This live durational piece is an intensive survey of unearthing movement with the fierce urgency of now, that guides us, helping us to silence the mind and free our bodies. glo continues our practice in exploring vibration while challenging conventional art- spectator relationships. Land Trees and Women centers around building frequency and creating space through social performance. This is glo’s first installation dedicated to modular sculptures. The work also includes huge migrations for glo female moving artists, a handbook of future stuff, and movement shops for people.
