Project Description
Neon Studies
an ongoing series of text-based work in neon
Neon Studies is an ongoing series of text-based work in neon. While often presented in a larger composition within the gallery space, the individual neon works resonate with a visible correlation to our current need for connectivity and an inherent potential for fostering mutuality and interdependence, much like poetry triggers memory and enhances sensations. Most of these text-based works are kept in private while we work on. The neons function as an extension of glo’s social movement and this moment calls for their public display. As artists who normally have to consider such obstacles as gravity, neon means freedom.
