Moving Artist
Zee is a moving artist originally from Douglas, Georgia. Her work as a performer is defined by an innate connection in presence, unwavering embrace of raw emotion, and co-exploring the vulnerable tapestry of lived experiences. Transcending formal training in upbringing, Zee has carved a distinct path through ritual, accompaniment of ancestors, deep listening to the body, and curiosity. Each time she engages the public in performance is a conversation – between breath and space, between memory and the moment.
Professionally, Zee has been a moving artist with glo since 2023 under the mastered guidance of choreographer lauri stallings at the Goat Farm Art Center. Zee has blazed through numerous works on the platform most recently being ‘Rite Works’ with Fort Worth Texas Symphony and ‘Making Kin’ at Old St. Mark, Westside Atlanta. Zee
Independently in Atlanta, she has worked alongside artists Majid Ariaim, Kebbi Williams, Luci Lu, & Vinisha Browne.
