Project Description
Float: an urban fantasy
public art
Highlighting inter-human relations between natural systems and urban life, Float is an original work in the form of a whimsical, communal foot-gathering doused with glee of the 1956 short film The Red Balloon, the serving of apple cider, side by side physical gesture. Float offers people a choice of mediums and ways of participating.
Float is a commission of Art on the Beltline. Float is made possible by an Artists’ Residency at The Goat Farm Arts Center.
