Making Kin

sculptural performance and the live moment

A comprehensive interdisciplinary work by choreographer lauri stallings, musician Kebbi Williams, and sound artist Monique Osorio that activates American artist Lonnie Holley Universe’s 2016 album, “keeping a record of it” as a site to extend from. Live activations by Atlanta artists, glo artistic associate Mary Jane Pennington, moving artist Zandia Covington, and the AIO Choir in the historic shell of St. Mark AME, a portal into the value of what’s left behind.
