adventure 1 / Hush

adventure 1 is the first section of a new live artwork commissioned by Nimbus Arts Center with choreography by lauri stallings to Phillip Glass’s Mad Rush for Jersey City pianist Yukiko Tanaka and glo moving artists Noëlle Dave’, Ashley Ianna Daye, Alyssa Lucas, and Mary Jane Pennington. Featuring one pianist and four dancers, the new work meditates on an ancient practice known as “letting” that allows flow and exchange between fragile ecosystems.
